Worst Enemy Lyrics by A Foreign Affair

Still Frame

2023

[Verse 1]
No, I don't need enemies, I got one
Stepping through mirror, watch me disappear
And to make myself clear, I’ve been coming undone
Running from the fear of what I’ve become
Yeah, it's a little too much
And a little too late
[Chorus]
Now I’m my own worst enemy
I don’t wanna make myself my own worst own worst enemy
And now there’s no one, no one left to blame
No matter how high, no matter how low
This feeling it flows right through me
[Verse 2]
When who you are's not what they see
And all you know is make believе
It’s hard enough to make a change
Whеn I can hardly take the blame
I’m poisoning the air I breathe
Like I’m my own worst enemy
There’s no way out until I save myself
Nowhere to run, nowhere hide
From what’s inside buried underneath
I hope that there’s still time left to change it
'Cause I don’t wanna be...
[Chorus]
My own worst enemy
(My own worst enemy, my own worst enemy)
I don’t wanna make myself my own worst enemy
(My own worst enemy, there's no one left to blame)
And now there’s no one, no one left to blame
[Bridge]
[Chorus]
My own worst enemy
I don’t wanna make myself my own worst own worst enemy
And now there’s no one, no one left to blame
No matter how high, no matter how low
This feeling it flows right through me
