This is one more testament to His mighty deeds
They anchored the boat and the company stepped ashore
A man came out of the tombs and went up to meet the Lord
He was often chained and shackled, did not wear any clothes
And evеry night in the hills he'd cry and cut himself with stonеs
There had been no one strong enough to keep him under guard
Now the man from Decapolis had met the Son of God
Naked and broken he cried out and fell at his feet
And at the top of his voice, said "what do you want with me?"
For Christ had told the demon to leave the man already
And when He asked for his name, he said “Legion, for we are many"
They cowered before Jesus and repeatedly begged
"If you drive us out, send us into the pigs instead"
He gave them permission and they went into the pigs
There were about two thousand of them on the hills
And by the power of God, the man was no longer bound
As the herd rushed down, fell in the water and drowned
When people came to see, the man was in his right mind
While he sat at the feet of the Son of the Most High
Who said, "go and tell how much God has done unto thee"
So the man told everyone about this miraculous deed
