Vulnerable Lyrics by A Too Lyrical

THERE’S STILL MORE REALITY TO FACE

2024

A wise man told me the most masculine thing to is to be vulnerable
Nobody will understand you when you going through those obstacles
If God gave you a purpose just know anything can be possible
You got goals you got missions you can’t die cause you too valuable
Opps got the nerve to tell me I ain’t nothing what is that bout
Glad I learned how to control my emotions I would’ve lashed out
I ain’t got time to be arguing with people I ain’t goin back to that route
Trynna tell people to change but they might as well just crash out
I can’t lie I tried to keep going but I endеd up in the wrong place
Trynna find the dirеctions to my life but it ain’t no way
Nobody I could open up to sometimes I get tired of venting
At times I wanted to end it all but I must have a reason to keep living
Everybody been in situations but deep down it’s a lot of pride
We got too much egotistic minds sometimes I just wonder why
I just wanna give a message to the people fighting mental health
The people that feel left out but gotta do it by they self
Social media got these people out here living in a fantasy
It got us feeling like we not accepted this is damaging
Why I gotta wait 5 months for somebody to respond
I know everybody fighting but check on me from time to time
But we rather ghost each other instead of just trynna uplift each other
And we rather go to war wit the opps and try to kill each other
I seen a lot of things in my life and I’m just trynna make it right
I got great expectations I’m just trynna change my life
So for all the men out there that’s got alot goin on
People gon tell you the wrong thing but you just gotta stay strong
And stop listening to these podcasts telling you get out ya feelings
How can someone control your life when deep down they all got feelings
Find a mature friend somebody you love and you can lean on
If you in a relationship make sure she the only one you can lean on
They say a man is a man feels stronger when you cry
I knew I cried a lot especially when my aunt Scotty had died
And at times we feel lonely deep inside it’s okay to pour it out
Experience nature write you a journal and try to jot it down
Most of the time I talk to myself when there’s no one on my side
If you don’t got yourself I want you to know that God is on your side
It’s a cold world and everybody expects us to be perfect
Sometimes in life we always thinking that you don’t feel worthy
All you gotta do is meditate and pray God got ya back
We all gonna make it one day let’s get our power back
It’s cool to tuff it out and keep it moving butNever let nobody tell you that you can’t pour out your emotions the most masculine thing you can do is be vulnerable be yourself and stay yourself because it’s success coming at your way it’s a lot of goofies out here that’s trynna stop you from being great but just let you u know god knows they time coming anyway so stay true to yourself
