The Uptown Trip Lyrics by Abso The Great

The Uptown Trip [Vol. 1]

2017

Now I ain't tryina be that old nigga
30 but I age like gold nigga
Avoided them gold diggers and got with a real one
And I keep the steel son cause' these niggas steal son
It's a dirty game..
But these niggas thinking shit is Peaches nah...
It's a Low Down Dirty Shame
I just wanna eat-feed my fam and my close ones
Cause' being assed out with no funds is no fun
A 9 to 5 is cool to pay the bills wit
But where the money you could chill wit?
Where the money you could hit club LIV wit?
Don't ask me what I do.. Mind ya business
Niggas tryina do a 100K a season. I ain't talkin ball
I'm talkin winter, spring, summer, fall
These niggas ain't in the game no more they commentating... Pat Summerall
Rest In Peace to Pat Summerall
Tryina make the rap work like the trap work
So I don't have to track work or bag work
Can't forget them times I never had work
And nobody gave a shit cause they had work
Been nice since Kobe and Shaq was 3peatin'
Skipped class all year thought I was repeatin'
Been nice since then so keep sleepin"
I was tryina fuck all the bitches in each beacon
Uhh. I'm talkin old Brooklyn
Not this hipster shit man they didn't know Brooklyn
Too real for TV they could show Brooklyn
Now its genrified. Nah they stole Brooklyn
I ain't mad tho cause a nigga so Brooklyn
.... i grew up in a realer time to pay me no never mind
So Sincere like Nas is but I is...
Showing these niggas what pride is
I love my city. Love the hustle n'shit
Cause' Rich Porter went from poor to rich
The Calvin Klein i know, sold dimes. I know..
Told lies to police and he survived that tho
The fact lies in doe. In the doe we trust
Got love for the game but Thursday nights we stay in LUST
Throw a couple G'z up cause they got their fix
Gotta get that re-up man it's time for that uptown trip
Yeah.. I said it's time for that uptown trip
