The noise from that party is rather absurd
And this fortress ensures that it cannot be heard
But if you insist and you will not desist
That one thing will not be missed
He thought the songbird never would return to his nest
But she came back every hour with another request
And every time she took flight she took a bite of his barricade
She made him feel excited and a little less afraid
The next day the party was finally prepared
The songbird returned but the owl was scared
She checked every feather she checked on the weather
She winked and she smiled and they both jumped together
