Cicada Lyrics by Adam Silvani

Come Alive - EP

2022

[Verse 1]
It's the simplest of the cures
To watch the pain that he endures
To get it done yourself, not waiting for karma to strike him out of stealth, yeah
If self-hatred leads to everybody’s love
Please, be bothered when I'm having the time of my life and I turn it all the way around
[Chorus]
I'm cicada, creepin’, singin' in the night
Malignant thought of as benign
I'm psychotic, being immature is fun, being guarded lets you down
All in vain, all in vain trying to prove that I am sane, I am sane, but I'm not, because
Yеah, It's narcotic to be psychotic
To be psychotic, to be psychotic, bе chaotic
[Verse 2]
Friendship stitches cuts
Being friends is a work of an artist, of the toughest
And I stitch myself up myself now as you did not
Some are built to fit boxes, take your time realizing where your box is
It's full of axes I was backstabbed with
It's full of middle age crisis
[Chorus]
I'm cicada, creepin’, singin’ in the night
Malignant thought of as benign
I'm psychotic, being immature is fun, being guarded lets you down
All in vain, all in vain trying to prove that I am sane, I am sane, but I’m not, because
Yeah, It's narcotic to be psychotic
To be psychotic, to be psychotic, be chaotic
[Bridge]
Never wanna wear a thimble, 'cause it looks weird, it don't fit tight, should’ve known better
My grin's a precautionary symbol as my blood takes shape of a scarlet letter
On your back, back, I'm a pistoleer, maniac
I'm no justice, I'm vendetta, Zodiac
Why not enjoy being sort of idiotic?
[Outro]
To be psychotic, be chaotic
Chaotic
