[Chorus]
1 step forward, 1 step back
Many things earned, and lots of stuff lacks
I will not follow all of your routes
I will not swallow all of your truths
[Verse 1]
Envision visions of pissed off citizens
Pissing listings of listful thinking
But wistful drinking is always on the brink
With an inkling the listless sinking feeling's indication you're a shitless being not finding what you're seeking so instead you shred up treaties
You're barking up the wrong tree
This is for the fuckers that wronged me and
Mistaken me for mistaken instead of a human being
Ya, it's a sad song. Sing it
Want to undo you're wrongs? Bring it
Otherwise it's gonna linger
I'm that other wise you can't extinguish
Here, let me leave an imprint of my middle finger in the crease of your forehead before you forget and your little brain forfeits the memory
You know there ain't no tellin me
Shellin' me a mouth of lies and I know it rots your teeth
It stinks alittle too, and you forgot to breathe
Now you look a little blue and I know you don't have a clue
.. and I almost feel bad for you
[Chorus]
1 step forward, 50 steps back
Many things earned, and lots of stuff lacks
I will not follow all of your routes
I will not swallow all of your truths
[Verse 2]
..because I got my own
Don't throw me bones, instead go fucking bury them
Hurry quick! Go hop inside your chariot
Ride out on the variance that varies us
It's buried into each of us
Discrepant, no repent. No regret illegal and secret. No repeal. No sequence of soddering salutes or salutations could fix the fodder facade in no state of recognition
Forced in freezing fucked up nation
There's no fixing with fervent fibbing or perverted rigging
The handle's jiggling, and I know we wouldn't drown
That's how shit's really about to go down
Little jockey in the dirt;
Ahhh the things that can happen to a crown
Picture incision grimaces
Scissors skimming on skins resistance
Magnificent meta visions in a mega viscous
Delivered hand to mouth from a managed distance
It gets intrinsic and sometimes sadistic yet sure upsetting if you miss it
It's a seismic guise this system slips in as sacred as secret missions christened crisis, when really just forbidden
Welcome to the system kittens: It's a bag of bugs, I'd tell ya
But you just can't know what you've been bitten
[Chorus]
1 step forward, 50 steps back
Many things earned, and lots of stuff lacks
I will not follow all of your routes
I will not swallow all of your truths
1 step forward, 100 steps back
Many things earned, and lots of stuff lacks
I will not follow all of your routes
I will not swallow all of your truths
[Verse 3]
I've felt I had nothing but nothing left
Motherless. Brother less
But I found a love nonetheless
And on this others bet their smothered breath currency
But love has credit you can't circumvent
We both gamble on this, I guess
..and my rambles you can't rule out
They spin around you like a roulette
It get's haunting like these requests for:
Delivered delves of delicious demoness digits directly derived from a derelict decent
Damn me to the infernal flames
Soil my namesake in soilent green for the sake of names
For the sake of planes on space and time
And everything else eagerly divides me
And decides the devine from decline
In due time this dudes mind wants heavenly hoisting
To heaven for moistened towelettes
Followed by showered gifts and an infinite number of worship
And of course war ships, battle troops and horses
And intercourse with equestrian sports in
The mouth of this here word smith
That spits so absurd it's a wonder that you even heard it
