Miss My Ex Lyrics by AK Wale

With Luv From AK, Vol. 1

2018

[Voice Note Intro: ]
Hello no-one is available to take your call
Please leave a message after the tone
(tone sound)
Hey um, its me
I hope this phone call didn't interrupt anything
I mean i know we haven't spoken in like a few days
And i know were supposed to be giving each other space
At least i think we are
I thought we had it all figured out
But...
[Pre-Hook: ]
We hit the check on top of check
We loved each other to the death
We pulled a flex on top of flex
We showed the world that we was next
I put designer on your feet
You had red on yo bottoms
I put myself inside the ring
I got commas giving comas
[Hook: ]
I cannot lie i miss my ex (I miss my ex)
I cannot lie i miss my ex (I miss my ex)
I cannot lie i miss my ex
No i cannot lie i miss my ex
[Verse: ]
We flexed up
Babygirl we next up
Baby tie my hair up
Baby put your legs up
Girl come back to me
I miss how we used to be
I need you with me
These diamonds dancing on me
Remember when you left
You left my heart in a mess
We both wanna be together
But we knew it was for the best
You had a place in my heart
And baby you're still there
I know i said i was fine
But i need you here
Girl i miss your kiss
Girl I need that kiss
Bitches, round me average
They so hit or miss
Girl, tell me what it do (x2)
Last night i got top
But i was thinking bout you
Yeah i was thinking bout you
Babe you know its so true
Babe you know im so true
Yeah you know i stay true
Babe you know i stay true
Ain't no-one better than you
Baby do me how you do
[Pre-Hook: ]
We hit the check on top of check
We loved each other to the death
We pulled a flex on top of flex
We showed the world that we was next
I put designer on your feet
You had red on yo bottoms
I put myself inside the ring
I got commas giving comas
[Hook: ]
I cannot lie i miss my ex (I miss my ex)
I cannot lie i miss my ex (I miss my ex)
I cannot lie i miss my ex
No i cannot lie i miss my ex
[Outro voice note: ]
What i mean to say is
I don't want us to break up
I don't
I was trying to do the no contact thing
Cause thats what all the articles say to do
But this doesn't feel right
None of it does
I might regret admitting this to you
But i miss you
I really, really miss you
