The Island Lyrics by Aland.V

Shipwrecked EP

2014

[Intro]
What the fuck? Where the hell am I?
[Verse 1: DCShaman]
You ever had a pain you couldn't escape from?
Clash of your terrors like its Freddy and Jason
Nightmares living that I just couldn't wake from
A pool full of patience that I just couldn’t take from
Seeking answers to questions I didn’t know I’m asking
This cannot be real, don’t even know what happened
Last thing I remember was talking to Captain
We laughing, talking bout how life was back when
Life was so simple, happier times
If you ain't in it, home is always in the back of your mind
But sunny days cave to the rain clouds
Storms really bringing the pain out, got me wanting to lay down
And just let it take me… take me under
Life ends with the sound of thunder
Like *BANG* in flash its over, and back again
Shocked back to life, this could not be an accident
Way different from the last attempts
All these stolen moments of my life, man I just can't capture them
I been passing them, acting like nothing happening
Whats it all worth, God please show me my path again
But fuck, guess that’s why I’m here now
Sunny day, beach side, sky so clear now
Looking back at these remnants of my life’s wreckage
With new vision now I see blessings
…So now what?
[Outro]
