Corona Christmas Lyrics by Alex Connor

2020

[Verse One: Alex Connor]
It's a very different kind of year
Has a little less cheer
It doesn't matter though
Cus its Christmas Time Bro
Not a plug just a sequel
Hope you're all good and peaceful
2020's had a lot of anxiety
So many changes in society
Wear a mask
Stay apart
Christmas is different
But so's the year
So let's change it up
And bring some cheer
Its time to be festive
So grab a digestive
And cuppa milk
Its Christmas time
And I'm just waiting for that jingle bell chime
[Verse Two: Daniel Tope]
2020, it's hard to say I've liked the year
Corona's taken over and еveryone's in fear, (now)
Thе snow ain't falling down and the lakes aren't freezing over
But at least the lights are up, yeah, people gettin' closer
Being festive online with zoom meetings 'round the table, (and I'm)
Telling all my family bout the story's round the stables, (and)
You'd think that Jesus would have tried to make a better year
So lets put our stockings up and enjoy our Christmas here
[Chorus: Alex Connor & Daniel Tope]
Its Christmas time once again but many things are different
No meeting up, no family dinner
Things seem to be getting ******
No matter what stay positive
Its gonna be corona Christmas
Yeah, the moods not good and there's little to no snow
But at least we making songs, putting on our favourite shows, (and)
I know you may be sad but there's one thing you should know
If there's anything to celebrate it's Christmas time bro!
[Verse Three: Alex Connor]
Christmas with the family
It just ain't happening
Tier 3 to tier 4
No fam knocking at my door
Still gonna be happy
Cus that's what matters
Put on a movie
And get in the mood
Turn on the fire
Its Christmas dude
Like ya might as well
It does no harm
There may be no snow
And things may be different
Get on a call
And just adapt
You have no control
Yes, none at all
Listen to Christmas
Countdown songs
Roast the turkey
Or the vegan one
Cus its 2020
Do what you want (within the guidelines of course)
[Verse Four: Daniel Tope]
Stay inside, Don't go to work, just please make sure you aren't a jerk
The rules have been officiated, guidelines initiated
Santa's on his sleigh there's no sign of lowing down, (he's)
Delivering all the presents by the tree, town to town, (yeah)
Please wear a facemask while you are out on Christmas Eve, (and)
Make sure you buy your gift in the stores before you leave
I hope you bond with family whatever be the distance, (now)
This song is done and dusted hope you have a good corona Christmas
[Chorus: Alex Connor & Daniel Tope]
Its Christmas time once again but many things are different
No meeting up, no family dinner
Things seem to be getting ******
No matter what stay positive
Its gonna be corona Christmas
Yeah, the moods not good and there's little to no snow
But at least we making songs, putting on our favourite shows, (and)
I know you may be sad but there's one thing you should know
If there's anything to celebrate it's Christmas time bro!
