The Grunkle Stance Lyrics by Alex Hirsch

2017

[verse 1]
I was working in the crypt during a full moon
When i overheard a familiar tune!
I sat down at the piano and to my surprise
Suddenly i began to plageriiiiizzzee!
[Chorus]
He did the Stance!
I did the Grunkle Stance!
The Grunkle Stance!
It was a monster-themed dance!
He did the Stance!
I got paid in advance!
He got finance!
From the Grunkle Stance!
[verse 2]
A skeleton, werewolf and ghost all came
Because their in public domain
Dracula was there, and a dragon i guess
Yadda, yadda, you know the rest!
[Chorus]
He did the Stance!
I did the Grunkle Stance!
The Grunkle Stance!
It was a monster-themed dance!
He did the Stance!
I got paid in advance!
He got finance!
From the Grunkle Stance!
[verse 3]
I thought this was a tune that none could resist
But some lawyers showed up with a cease and desist
I said right this way, I promise I'll quit
Then shoved them all into the bottomless pit!
Now everythings cool, and I'm flushed with cash
I reiterate THIS IS NOT THE MONSTER MASH!!
It's an origanal song by me, its true
But if you try to steal it, I'm going to sue you!
[Chorus]
He did the Stance!
I did the Grunkle Stance!
The Grunkle Stance!
It was a monster-themed dance!
He did the Stance!
I got paid in advance!
He got finance!
From the Grunkle Stance!
