Matthew 18:20 Lyrics by Alex Jean

2025

[Chorus: Alex Jean]
Step in the buildin', Bible on me
One, two, three, you know we deep
Just like Moses, splittin’ the sea
Walk into church, I ain't payin' the fee
I make time for God, He make time for me
Matthew 18:20, You said when we come in Your name we comin’ in
[Bridge: Alex Jean]
Okay, and I don't need a DRAC'
I've been movin' with God so I still gotta carry my peace
I was lookin' for change and they want me to pay
But I knew that His mercy is free, ooh
Talk about givin' me life and He showed me the Word
I guess I gotta read, come on
[Chorus: Alex Jean]
Step in the buildin', Biblе on me
One, two, three, you know we deep
Just likе Moses, splittin’ the sea
Walk into church, I ain’t payin' the fee
I make time for God, He make time for me
Matthew 18:20, You said when we come in Your name we comin’ in
[Verse 1: Alex Jean]
Ooh, walkin' with God and we not finna stop
Totin' Your Word and I don't need a Glock
Got the armor of God and it’s deep in my sock
I ain't never thought that I would be tight with the Rock
Ain't with the gang and I ain't with the block
I've been servin' the Lord and I know He on top
He speakin' the truth and He not finna stop
[Bridge: Alex Jean]
Okay, and I don't need a DRAC'
I've been movin' with God so I still gotta carry my peace
I was lookin' for change and they want me to pay
But I knew that His mercy is free, ooh
Talk about givin' me life and He showed me the Word
I guess I gotta read
[Verse 2: Alex Jean]
And I'm happy that I got the keys
They a dog they still got the fleas
And the Law, I still gotta read
And this sin is still a disease
I'm with Christ, so I gotta lead
Spirit, I need (Okay)
God, I need (Okay)
Father, I need
Comin' together, we still needed—
Good, okay, honor and faith, God remains
If they ain't on this, they is lame
No, this right here ain't a phase
[Instrumental Interlude]
[Chorus: Alex Jean]
Step in the buildin', Bible on me
One, two, three, you know we deep
Just like Moses, splittin' the sea
Walk into church, I ain't payin' the fee
I make time for God, He make time for me
Matthew 18:20, You said when we come in Your name we comin' in three
[Verse 3: De La Cruz]
Yeah, and I came with my angels, uh
Life is gon' get hard, uh, I still remain faithful
Devil still tryna kill my vibe
Kick that lil' boy to the curb 'cause I came in with my God, yeah, yeah
I know he's working, even if it feel He take too long
Uh, done with the searchin', it was in front of me all along
Yeah, I can depend on Him, He ridin' right or wrong
Uh, Jesus, stuck on You, I can't move on
Yeah, we like three people right now
Cozy just like Four Seasons
Tell that old life pipe down, yeah, yeah
Step in the buildin', I walk with a limp 'cause this Bible on me
Yeah, ain't no chains upon my wrist 'cause boy I'm—
