Way Out Stay Out Lyrics by Alexander Star

Five Star General

2020

Tryna find a way out yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
I’m grindin’ for tha payout yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
Whoa
I'm here but I'm not here
In the room but I'm not near
Left out and it left me wit this cold face fulla hot tears
Deep thoughts they drive slow like cuttin' grass on a John Deere
Sittin’ still I stayed clean
Started movin’ I got smears
Fogged up but I still steer
I'm switchin' up to a new gear
I don't do fear, issa new year
And I'm ‘wassup' like I'm new here
This my ship I'm Blue Beard
The treasure's all in my chest
I'm takin' over this beat like when white people went west
I'm a good guy but I turn viscous
Done dirt and I dug ditches
My own heart got buried in em
I excavated it and gave it stitches
Love's there but it's got limits
Light skin but I'm gettin' dimmer
If you a wave I'm a great swimmer
You throw salt but I ain't bitter I’m
Tryna find a way out yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
I’m grindin’ for tha payout yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
Tryna find a way out
Grindin’ for tha payout
If I ever make it then I pray that I could stay out
Tryna find a way out yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
Yo
Sometimes it gets too real
Other times it's three real
My son needs Superman so I had to learn how to bend steel
Gym time and I pump iron
Runnin’ miles on the treadmill
Just so I don't gotta murder nobody but turn on the beat and my pen will
Headaches are part of my daily baby
I don't be takin' no Advil
I just get used to the pain
I learned how to sleep in the rain
I learned how to sleep in my car
I learned how to sleep on the floor
The crick in my neck it don't matter cuz sleep is a luxury I can no longer afford
I'm high level
And I like to keep it high high level
You gotta kill a few demons to get to my level
A young fly fellow wavin' hi hello
Yellow gold, purple stones, Swiss tech with the wide bezel
I got some dirt on my hands from all these places I been
I put my life on these lines, it's like there's blood in my pen
I bury the anger within behind a smirk and a grin
Try and push me it'll resurface again, that’s why I'm
Tryna find a way out yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
I’m grindin’ for tha payout yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
Ayy ayyy
Tryna find a way out
Grindin’ for tha payout
If I ever make it then I pray that I could stay out
Tryna find a way out yeah-eh-eh-eh-eh
Cuz we gotta bootstrap it
Nobody, nobody hands anything out
Nobody puts anybody on
You gotta, you gotta make your own momentum
And here's how I put it right (yeah tell me)
The music industry is like lunch tables right
You have winning lunch tables
And when you can sit at these tables you will win with the other people winning (correct)
But if you don't yet have social access to these lunch tables you gotta cook your own food
And make your food so appealing that everybody else wants to come sit at your lunch table
