I Never Lock That Door Lyrics by Alexis Taylor

Piano

2016

[Chorus 1]
When I go out in the morning
I make sure I set a warning
I lock the door securely
And I never wonder surely
When I go out off an evening
I make sure that when I’m leaving
Every bolt is fastened tightly
And I head out for the night
But there’s one place that's always open
And you'll find me if you're hoping
To be mine for all of time
I never lock that door
[Chorus 2]
I never lock that door of my heart
From my daylight's close and start
For you my love no keys required'
When I’m come home loves not tired
Open arms will always greet you
And my happiness will need you
Come on knocking ‘cause I never lock that door
[Chorus 1]
When I go out in the morning
I make sure I set a warning
I lock the door securely
And I never wonder surely
When I go out off an evening
I make sure that as I’m leaving
Every bolt is fastened tightly
Then I head out to the night
But there’s one place that's always open
And you'll find me if you're hoping
To be mine for all of time
I never lock that door
[Chorus 2]
I never lock that door of my heart
From my daylight's close and start
For you my love no keys required'
When I’m come home loves not tired
Open arms will always greet you
And my happiness will need you
Come on knocking ‘cause I never lock that door
I never lock that door of my heart
From my daylight's close and start
For you my love no keys required'
When I’m come home loves not tired
Open arms will always greet you
And my happiness will need you
Come on knocking ‘cause I never lock that door
[Outro]
Come on knock in ‘cause I never lock that door
