Private Dance Instructor Lyrics by Tina Barrett

2020

[Verse 1: Tina Barrett]
Boy, excuse me I don't mean to be rude
But you need help with your moods
So come along and take my class
I'mma teach you how to dance
[Pre-Chorus: Tina Barrett]
Oh, oh, quick with the slow
Follow me, I'll show you which way to go
5, 6, 7, 8
Go with the flow don't hesitate
Put your hands on my hips
Cha cha cha, just like this
1, 2, 3, 4
Put your body on the floor
[Chorus: Tina Barrett]
Boy, I wanna be your private dance instructor
I wanna dance with you all night long
Let me be your private dance instructor
Take my hand and let's jam to this song
[Verse 2: Tina Barrett]
Boy, I'll be your Ginger Rogers
And you'll be my Fred Astaire
Now the room's getting hotter
Feels like we're floating in the air
[Pre-Chorus: Tina Barrett]
Oh, oh, quick with the slow
Follow me, I'll show you which way to go
5, 6, 7, 8
Go with the flow don't hesitate
Put your hands on my hips
Cha cha cha, just like this
1, 2, 3, 4
Put your body on the floor
[Chorus: Tina Barrett, Ali Vegas]
Boy, I wanna be your private dance instructor
I wanna dance with you all night long
Let me be your private dance instructor (Tina!)
Take my hand and let's jam to this song
[Verse 3: Ali Vegas]
She grabbed my hand and said "dance with me"
So I told her like Leroy told Vanity (show me some moves!)
And she helped me get my glow back
Usually my mind is where the dough at
But now my eyes startin' to fantasise
We dirty dancing, I don't need my body sanitised
They say a picture worth a thousand words
Well I don't pay attention to the camera lies
They say the body is the most complicated language
And right now her eyes are saying "can't you see?"
Her lips are saying "come kiss me"
And like Billy Crystal I quickly analyse
The situation, we in tune
Everybody on a different station
Private stop, private jet, don't get no private than this
I need an instructor to the privacy list
[Chorus: Tina Barrett]
Boy, I wanna be your private dance instructor
I wanna dance with you all night long
Let me be your private dance instructor
Take my hand and let's jam to this song
[Chorus: Tina Barrett]
Boy, I wanna be your private dance instructor
I wanna dance with you all night long
Let me be your private dance instructor
Take my hand and let's jam to this song
