Best of the Bad Lyrics by AlicebanD

Demo 1

0

[Verse 1]
Slows me down
Makes me weak
I sleep on my feet sometimes
Overthink things
Always
Bleak and cold with aching joints and poems
Keep out the salt with words and empty thoughts of
I won't worry
I won't worry
[Chorus]
When I'm rich
I'll make do with bigger things
When people see me they won't think I'm
Lazy or not made yet
I'll be safer when I'm famous
Drinking comfort like I'm naked
Who gave this all up?
To settle down
And make the best of all this bad
Oh, oh
[Verse 2]
Crowds and seasons and
Pavements and trees
I remember my pleas but it
Doesn't seem needed
I keep all the things that I'm mеant to believe in
But somеhow I'm grieving
[Chorus]
But I won't worry when I'm rich
I'll make do with bigger things
When people see me they won't think I'm
Lazy or not made yet
I'll be safer when I'm famous
Drinking comfort like I'm naked
Who gave this all up?
To settle down
And make the best of all this bad
Oh
[Bridge]
It's all covered up
It's dry
It's sheltered
But I'm not in peace until it's melted
I want to touch it and make sure it's breathing
I try not to hurt it
I just want to hold him
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh
I see you screwing up
Woah
But I can't make it stop
[Chorus]
Oh when I'm rich
I'll make do with bigger things
When people see me they won't think I'm
Lazy or not made yet
I'll be safer when I'm famous
Drinking comfort like I'm naked
Who gave this all up?
To settle down
And make the best of all this bad
[Outro]
Oh
I see you screwing up
Oh, oh
But I can't make it stop
Make it stop
Oh
