Rest Lyrics by Alisha Powell

Consider

2006

[Verse 1]
[?] His faithfulness
Delight yourself in the Lord, get your desires from His hand
Commit your way unto the Lord and He shall bring it to pass
Righteousness as the dawn
Justice going on and on
[Chorus]
Just rest, rest
Wait for the Lord
Rest, rest
And He shall bring it to pass
Rest, rest
Be still my soul
And wait
For the Lord
[Verse 2]
Blessed are the poor in spirit, there's is the Kingdom of heaven
(Heaven, Heaven)
Blessed are the ones who mourn, they will be comforted
(They will be comforted, they will be comforted)
Blessed are the humbles one, the earth they’ll inherit
(The earth they'll inherit)
Those who hunger and thirst
Will be blessed, they'll be filled with righteousness
[Chorus]
Just rest, rest
Wait for the Lord
Rest, rest
And He shall bring it to pass
Rest, rest
Be still my soul
And wait
For the Lord
[Bridge]
For the merciful (Merciful, merciful)
Shall obtain mercy
The pure in heart (Pure heart)
Are gonna see God
For the merciful (Merciful)
Shall obtain mercy
I know, I know the pure in heart (Pure heart)
Are gonna see God
[Interlude]
[Chorus]
So rest, rest
Wait for the Lord
Rest, rest
And He shall bring it to pass
Rest, rest
Be still my soul
And wait
For the Lord
[Outro]
Wait for the Lord
