Blue Checkin’ Lyrics by Almoni

Oy Vey

2020

{Intro:}
Your local orthodox rapper is here
For evaluation
And I ain't scared of no intimidation
And I ain't looking for no validation
{Chorus:}
You
Yo! When I see you in shul
You better know, no we ain’t cool
You were supposed to be
Here to learn with me
But you blue checkin' me
Why you blue checkin' me
Disrespecting me
It’s gonna be hard to find another shaf
I don’t bout' you, but I thought we hit it off
{Verse 1:}
I thought that you were shtark
Don’t blame it on alarms
I saw you were online
If you come in late I don’t wanna here you lie
Don’t try to deny
I used to know this guy
We used to shlug it up
I mean he could really shtieg
Yeah u guessed it, you used to be that guy
My chavrusah and shadchan
Got that one thing in common
Both drive me nuts and they’re never responding
Blue checkin' me and I’m taking offense
Graduation speech rebbi used to call you a mensch
Looking back I just guess that was cap' though
"Tzisis-Tail" hanging out the back, like tad pole
Usually I’ll tell you, now I’ll let them laugh bro (Haha!)
I ain’t even mad bro
{Chorus:}
You
Yo! When I see you in shul
You better know, no we ain’t cool
You were supposed to be
Here to learn with me
But you blue checkin' me
Why you blue checkin' me
Disrespecting me
It’s gonna be hard to find another shaf
I don’t bout' you, but I thought we hit it off
