Ältestenrat Lyrics by Altvater

Chroniken

2009

Einst kam ein Mann aus einem Land
Das jüngst so sehr geschändet war
Das Jahre schon in Flammen Stand
Welches die Dunkelheit verschlang
Seine Truppen brannten alles nieder
Seine Schand' so groß und schwer
Ließ ihm seit dem keine Ruhe
Brachte ihn alsbald hierher
Also bat er uns um Obdach
Und um unser'n Rat
Wie jemals könnst vergessen
Das Grauen das er sah
Er war ausgеzehrt, führte einst еin Heer
Und er hat uns erzählt
Von Siegen und dem Fehler
Was ihn heute endlos quält
Nie mehr wollte er noch kämpfen
Und keine Klinge mehr sehen
Er sprach oft von seinen Träumen
Von dieser Welt zu geh'n
Wir nahmen ihn mit in das Dorf
Der Alten und der Weisen
Lehrten ihn dem Dunkel widerstehen
So sollt er bald begreifen
Musst niederringen seine Wut
Widerstehen dem Rachedrang
Und auch verzeihen seinem Feind
Um ganz von vorne anzufangen
(Seine Truppen, unser'n Rat)
Wie er jemals könnt begleichen
Das Grauen das er tat
Begraben war der Held in ihm
Vom Zorn ganz tief gefangen
Doch nur Vergebung für sich selbst
Konnt stillen sein Verlangen
Musst niederringen seine Wut
Widerstehen dem Rachedrang
Und auch verzeihen seinem Feind
Um ganz von vorne anzufangen
