Bar Scene Lyrics by Anchondo

Rookies of the Year

0

Eyes that I seen that I never seen before
Girl come walkin right on through that door
Lookin so good i didn't realize
She was lookin for some other guy
And one thing was sure
All I wanted was her
It wasn't that long till the boys were all around
Givin her drinks helpin her sit down
There I was just a sittin all alone
Wishin I had her to call my own
But one thing was sure
I was gonna talk to her
I said hello, whats your name, where you from
Where you been, I can not tell you how long searchin
For someone like you, yes you
Yes its true, I'm sincere, I would not lie to you my
Dear, I would just hold you for ever and love you
Forever dear
She smiled and start to talk to me
I thought I had a chance with this blond beauty
I made her laugh and smile some more
Soon that guy came right on through the door
Then I sure, she didn't want me no more
I said hello, whats your name, where you from
Where you been, I can not tell you how long searchin
For someone like you, yes you
Yes its true, I'm sincere, I would not lie to you my
Dear, I would just hold you for ever and love you
Forever dear
And here I am, all alone
I'm on my own
Maybe she'll come back for me
But that is somethin that I'll have to see
I said hello, whats your name, where you from
Where you been, I can not tell you how long searchin
For someone like you, yes you
Yes its true, I'm sincere, I would not lie to you my
Dear, I would just hold you for ever and love you
Forever dear
