After a few hours of cuddling with Jinxx, Lee was fast asleep in his arms. Lee twitched and jerked in her sleep, showing she was dreaming. From the look of it, Jinxx knew Lee was having a pretty bad dream, and that she could wake up at any second.
Seconds later, Lee sat up, instantly crying. She wrapped her arms around Jinxx, ignoring the fact that he still didn’t have a shirt on. Jinxx wrapped Lee in a hug, and attempted to calm his wife down.
“Baby. What’s wrong? What’s wrong, baby?” Jinxx asked softly, trying to comfort her.
“No!” Lee screamed out, “No! I don’t want to talk about it! I don’t want to upset you too,” she said through broken sobs.
Jinxx looked down at Lee, the look of confusion spreading across his face, “Baby. Tell me. I can take it, I promise. Just tеll me, darling,” he said, gently kissing thе top of Lee’s head.
Lee gasped as she felt Jinxx’s lips meet the top of her head. She quickly got up, and ran up the stairs to get Lilith from her crib.
“Are you okay, Lilith?” Lee asked, gently kissing Lilith’s head.
Lilith gently cooed, as if to say, “Yes.”
Lee sighed as she clutched Lilith closer to her, wishing she never had that dream. Lilith cooed again as Lee heard the floors creak. She turned around, only to see Jinxx standing there, still only in a pair of jeans, and his hair extremely messy.
“It was about Lilith, wasn’t it?” Jinxx asked, his voice going soft.
Lee nodded slowly, “It was. I’m sorry, Jinxx. I want the best for you and her,” she whispered out.
Jinxx sighed as he walked over to Lee, “I forgive you, baby,” he said, wrapping his arms around Lee’s waist, “I’m going to get you help for your dreams. Would you like that, honey?”
Lee nodded as she gently leaned back against Jinxx’s chest, “I would love that, baby. Help is just what I need. But right now, I just want a warm bath. You could use a shower as well,” she whispered out.
“You go pamper yourself honey, you deserve it. Would you like for me to call your psychiatrist? He might find out why you’re having these dreams,” Jinxx asked, gently kissing Lee’s neck.
Lee nodded gently as she carefully handed Lilith to Jinxx, and went to grab a change of clothes. A little bit into Lee’s bath, she heard Jinxx call for her from their bedroom. She then heard Lilith’s cries of what sounded like hunger.
“Lee!” Jinxx called again, sounding angry when the words left his lips. Lee sighed as she finally got out of her bath, and started to dry off.
Sighing again, Lee walked back into the bedroom in a different change of clothes, “What Jinxx?” she asked, attempting to get her hair in a bun.
“Worry about your hair later. Take Lilith. I need a shower,” Jinxx told Lee, handing her a crying Lilith.
Lee looked at Jinxx before he went to their bathroom, a change of clothes in hand. She didn’t know what had gotten into her husband, but she didn’t like his attitude.
About thirty minutes later, Jinxx walked out of the shower, a smile spreading across his face at the sight of his wife. Yes, even though she was asleep, she still looked beautiful in his eyes.
Lee gently rolled over in her sleep, and ended up falling out of the bed. Jinxx gasped as he ran over to his wife’s side.
“Ow,” Lee groaned out as Jinxx picked her up, “That really hurt, Jinxx.”
“Are you okay, baby? Tell me you’re okay,” Jinxx pleaded, looking into Lee’s eyes, as his own filled with tears.
Lee nodded, “I’m fine, honey. Just a short fall onto a hard surface. Did you call my psychiatrist?” she asked, looking down at the bed.
“I’m glad you’re okay, sunshine. And I haven’t called your psychiatrist yet. I was about to before you decided to fall out of bed,” Jinxx replied with a chuckle.
Lee rolled her eyes, “Can you put me down? I’m fine,” she asked.
Jinxx nodded, and gently sat Lee back down on the bed, “Now don’t roll off of it again,” he laughed out, “I’m going to call your psychiatrist.”
Lee smiled at Jinxx as he sat on the bed next to her. She then leaned up to give Jinxx a kiss before Lee handed her phone to him.
