So I started home again

Standing in front of a
Volkswagen bus said
Something inviting further
Conversation,and I
Kept on walking by
But stopped in my
Tracks,suddenly remembering
That they were
Standing in front of a
Volkswagen bus
We had sorne drinks
Across the street,and
We were ali taiking,and
One was just listening
Then they drove me home
And the next day the one
That was just listening
Called me up and asked
Me out to dinner
And I was very tired
Because I'd been up
All night with my old man
Discussing the finer points
Of our different
Philosophical leanings
And I was almost 2. hours late
But he was still there
And this is what he said.......
