Cloud’s Lament Lyrics by Anser (Band)

Midsummer Misery

2024

The trees give no comfort
As I ball up, blood and soot
Covered by dirt is my eyes
While devils rape my mind
Nothingness - everything
Always finding back home
This harsh winter night is numbing at my nerves
I can't take this anymore
I take my dagger, run it to my veins
I plead my life away, we harvest upon saints
The darkness chokes me as I pass away
As the clouds lament upon life's grave
Skies burn my eyes black
The clouds freeze to boast their ash
Inherited - everything is dead
Blight consumes the entire land
Magma erupts from every crevice
Mortal life depletes with every second
Beheaded, oxygen of no return
White to black to dust, the whole earth burns
