What God Says Lyrics by Anthony Nelson and The Overcomers

Love Jesus, Love People

2016

Verse 1
You’ve made so many mistakes
You can’t, count them all
Your flesh and sin
Sometimes, got the best of you
You’ve hurt so many hearts
You can’t, count them all
Your pride and lust
Sometimes, got the best of you
Pre-Chorus
The past is gone
Today’s a new day
He has a plan for you
He’ll turn your life around
The chains are broken
Your yokes are destroyed
He has will for you
He’ll create a new life for you
Chorus
And, no matter how you feel
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
No matter what they say
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
Verse 2
You’ve made so many falls
You can’t, count them all
Disobedience,
Sometimes, got the best of You
You’ve done so many wrongs
You can’t, count them all
Temptations,
Sometimes, got the best of You
Pre-Chorus
The past is gone
Today’s a new day
He has a plan for you
He’ll turn your life around
The chains are broken
Your yokes are destroyed
He has will for you
He’ll create a new life for you
Chorus
And, no matter how you feel
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
No matter what they say
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
Bridge
You are victorious
You are royalty
You are forgiven
In Jesus Christ
You are a conqueror
You are His righteousness
You are a friend
In Jesus Christ
Chorus
And, no matter how you feel
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
No matter what they say
It’s what God says about You
Know that God believes in You
And, that’s all that matters
