Kevin Pickles & The Great Pool Noodle Excursion Lyrics by Arcadia Grey

Casually Crashing

2024

[Intro]
Hey, Cooper! How's it going tonight?
Yo! What's up, man? Having a chill night?
Did you finish watching all the seven hundred and seventy six episodes of One Piece yet?
Yeah, yeah, I did that last night
Did you do the dishes for me?
Uh...
[Verse 1]
I don't wanna do my roommate's dishes this week
I ask them in passing, laughing off casually
A smirk reply, slid off to the side
"Ha-ha, no worries," I begrudgingly resign
What do I do, when I'm burning out inside?
My last of revives used up this time
You're driving me up a wall
I will crash this car, I will crash this fucking car
(You're breaking that pipe
No more weed for you)
[Chorus]
Now, I'm screaming, casually crashing
And swerving, avoiding the wreckage
And making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
And burning, wreaking destruction
We're learning to speak with our words
We're making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
[Verse 2]
It's only a matter of time
The dishes are piling high
The red in my eyes
The engine is revving with passive aggression
Obsessive suppression
Fine, I'll just do it myself
Roommates, and their problems (Roommates, and their problems)
They can never fucking solve them
It's just bickering and snickering behind each other's backs (We'll never resolve them)
And there's mold in the sink, it is starting reek
Are you lying to me? Are you lying? I really want to know
I want to know, I'm gonna blow
(I don't fucking care)
[Chorus]
Now, we're screaming, casually crashing
And swerving, avoiding the wreckage
And making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
And burning, wreaking destruction
We're learning to speak with our words
We're making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
[Post-Chorus]
I'm gonna blow
I'm gonna blow
I'm gonna blow
I'm gonna blow
[Instrumental]
[Bridge]
Hey, I noticed that you just made some food, and...
This is not a problem in the house, but...
If you could just do the dishes when you're done?
Yeah, uh-huh, yeah, ok
So, that - we can, like, have a clean space
Yeah, I feel like it's a waste of time, and...
I've got a lot of weed to smoke, and I don't got the time
No, I don't care if you have to smoke weed. I'd really appreciate if you'd do the dishes
Well, I think it's always the dishes with you!
[Chorus]
We're screaming, casually crashing
We're burning, burning together
We're making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of friends
We're learning to speak with our words
We're yearning for fruitful endeavors
We're making mistakes again
We are casually crashing with all of our friends
