King Me Lyrics by Areze

Philly Raised

2021

[Verse]
All I ask is keep it real
Because people talking out they neck ain’t really In the field
Seen friends start getting jealous of my talent and my skill
In my face they wish me well but in my heart they wish me ill
Niggas love you when you grinding
But they hate you when you got it
Even if you turn around and try to help them turn a profit
They’ll act like you turned your back and start talking lots of nonsens
Cause they don’t want it ‘less it’s coming out your pockets
I remember when I started
Wasn’t getting no support
No plays to get it Poppin
No fans to think of tours
This Music Shit was fun
But that promo was a chore
Then I hear niggas wanna start a war
Careful how you speak won’t do you any favors
Same nigga call me sus
I might hit his bitch up later
Might call up one my ex’s
Laugh about how she downgraded
Man these voodoo dolls get poked for entertainment
Man half these kids really my seeds
A few I even named em
And these Jokers Fucking Clowns
But to watch ems entertaining
And they ride right off the cotails
In an effort to get famous
But will blame me when the chick doing the same
If I’m the bad guy then it’s evident
No remorses or repentance’s
Wouldn’t give a single fuck
Guess I can never learn my lessens and
Since niggas wanna stop me
Let them do the best they can
I pray all the young-ins eat
Even if not off the cloth I am
You should prepare for all the hate
When you’re who they want to be
When you’re doing something great
That no one would believe
You can let the haters doubt
They all average you should see
It ain’t about having the clout
It’s bout knowing imma King
