The Tale of Arie Dixon

2011

Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
Im from a place where my people done care
Where the white girls scream fuck the police
Where we got kids getting high riding shotgun
Or in their momma’s basement with a fifth of vodka, the 8 4 5
There ain't no place like home, and this place ain't a dump
And you lames, you can say what you want, its the 8 4 5
Yeah here I come
Dont judge me if you dont love me, you dont know where im from (Whoop)
Im from a place where recession hit
Its a mess and it can get infested with
Kids trying to be fly in the freshest kicks
And white girls gettin fucked up in the lexus with
A mexican, and the rest is domestic shit
And the best is its, just the way i left it this
Is where im from, and I ain't scared to rep it if
You dont like it, like a testy bitch
Its the harsh reality, im an artist that guards his shadow me
Im a spartan from God ’til my heart beats out of me
We talk how we talk and its offly sad to see
That we’re taught if we talk, then its off to battle we
Ready for war, better be ready machetes and swords
Is what we carry to burials and the scariest thought is
Terror can cause, the american fall
But ill be back in my area to cherish it all
Im from a place where my people done care
Where the white girls scream fuck the police
Where we got kids getting high riding shotgun
Or in their momma’s basement with a fifth of vodka, the 8 4 5
There ain't no place like home, and this place ain't a dump
And you lames, you can say what you want, its the 8 4 5
Yeah, here I come
Don’t judge me if you dont love me, you dont know where im from (Whoop)
8 4 5
I love the
8 4 5
I rep that
8 4 5
Im the best at
8 4 5
Check that
Im from a place where the rich get richer
The poor get fucked by a stick dick with the
HIV sitting at the tip of it, shit this is the
Norm, i warned you the shit gets thicker
I remember when it was a slick brisk winter
Was a bad motherfucker talking shit is Santa
Was real, let me tell you at the christmas dinner
I wouldn't have gotten shit on my wish list and then some
But i did, remember those days
At one point we got a little more than most days
Not saying we were Cake’n, but there was days when
We got a little extra when your parents gave in
Shit is wack, im not saying that its not
But the middle class is gettin shaved off the top
And im done trying to tell people, yo keep your head up
‘Cause dead up, everybody’s fed up
Im from a place where my people done care
Where the white girls scream fuck the police
Where we got kids getting high riding shotgun
Or in their momma’s basement with a fifth of vodka, the 8 4 5
There ain't no place like home, and this place ain't a dump
And you lames, you can say what you want, its the 8 4 5
Yeah, here I come
Dont judge me if you dont love me, you dont know where im from (Whoop)
Hold up
Yo, bring my shit back
Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
Its the 8 4 5
Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
Im from the 8 4 5
Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
I love the 8 4 5
Da Da DaDaDa Da Da Da DaDaDa Da DaDaDa Da Da
Its the 8 4 5
