Hate Me Now Lyrics by Dreamville, Arin Ray, Mereba, Omen

Creed III: The Soundtrack

2023

[Intro: Arin Ray]
Learned it from you
Learned it from you
[Chorus: Mereba]
Missin' you lately, I bet you hate me now
Lost in a daydream, we started breakin' down
All the consequences came, I'm ashamed of what I'm facin' now
Findin' my pacin', movin' more safely now
[Verse 1: Mereba]
Lows and highs, you and I like a coaster ride (Like a coaster ride)
Been a while and I've grown since we cut our ties (Ooh)
I loved you wearin' each tattoo
You tried to, you was blind, you
Apologize for the way I switch sides, I
I hope it's sunny on your side, mm-hmm-mm
[Chorus: Mereba & Arin Ray]
Missin' you lately, I bet you hate me now
Lost in a daydream, we started breakin' down
All the consequences came, I'm ashamed of what I'm facin' now (Now, now)
Findin' my pacin' (Yeah), movin' more safely now (Now, now, now)
[Refrain: Arin Ray]
Ayy, I've been hidin', fightin', tryin', tryna see the source
Sittin' patient, momma prayin', it ain't pay enough
Million reasons I've been grievin', I don't get along with you
Guess it's the both of us
Ayy, I've been hidin', fightin', tryin', tryna see the source
Sittin' patient, momma prayin', it ain't pay enough
Million reasons I've been grievin', I don't get along with you
Guess it's the both of us
[Verse 2: Omen]
I can't explain these hysterical fights
How can I change all these difficult times?
Set you forgave but you enslaved me
To the mistakes I thought were behind
Thought we were timeless
None of the rain has dried, the sun has been hidin'
How could you play me?
Said you're my lady, more than just somethin' to climb in
[Chorus: Mereba & Arin Ray]
Missin' you lately, I bet you hate me now (Lately, lately, lately)
Lost in a daydream, we started breakin' down
All the consequences came, I'm ashamed of what I'm facin' now (Now, now, now)
Findin' my pacin', movin' more safely now (Now, now, now)
[Bridge: Arin Ray & Mereba]
Because of you
Because of you, ooh, ooh (Because of you)
Learnin' from you (Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh, oh-oh, ooh-woah)
Learnin' from you (Learnin' from you)
Love me now
[Chorus: Mereba & Arin Ray]
Missin' you lately (Love me now), I bet you hate me now (Love me now, love me now)
Lost in a daydream, we started breakin' down (Breakin' down, down, down)
All the consequences came, I'm ashamed of what I'm facin' now (Now, now)
Findin' my pacin', movin' more safely now (Ayy, now, now)
[Refrain: Arin Ray & Mereba, Arin Ray & Mereba]
Ayy, I've been hidin', fightin', tryin', tryna see the source (See the source)
Sittin' patient, momma prayin', it ain't pay enough (Ain't pay enough)
Million reasons I've been grievin', I don't get along with you
Guess it's the both of us
Ayy, I've been hidin', fightin', tryin', tryna see the source
Sittin' patient, momma prayin', it ain't pay enough
Million reasons I've been grievin', I don't get along with you
Guess it's the both of us
[Outro: Arin Ray & Mereba]
We were eighteen, it's crazy now (Yeah, yeah)
Livin' a daydream, hate me now (Hate me now, oh-ooh-woah)
Eighteen, crazy now (Crazy) now (Crazy, crazy now)
Because of you (Because of you, because of you, because of you, ooh)
Because of you (Because of you, you, ooh)
Because of you (Because of me, because of me, because of me)
Learned it from you, hurtin' from you, learned it from you
Learned it from you (Learned it from me)
Learned it from you (Learned it from me, learned it from me, learned it from me)
