Apex Predator / I Pray Lyrics by AST

2023

[Part 1] - Apex Predator
Uh, Apex predator
Everyone is a prey, I'd be feeling like a Mikaelson
Sweeping every feature like a janitor
All your music miniature - minuscule
Pedicure - I fucked her with no manicure
Used to be intrigued how nobody wasn't feeling me
Now I understand that they lack the sense of intellect
I got me a dream and a pen, this ain't literature
500 a show, I ain't talking 'bout no integers
I'm the talk of Mpumalanga, I swear I'm
Just a villager
But I made it where all these people got to envy me
If I'm taking handouts I'ma owe these niggas lots of favors
So I'm never takin' handouts, that's my ultimatum
If I'm repping for the fame, I would've autotuned this
But this is passion, mixed with emotions, mixed with devotion
And I got a dream, I'm 'bout to set it into motion
Young nigga, I'm destined
I got SxaN, I'm not talking 'bout Xanax if you're wondering
If I'm talking shit, I ain't even gotta say "Please pardon me"
Coz all these bitches on my dick like I just won the lottery
Keep 'em all on my dick like a latex - safe sex
Tied to this music like laces, face it
I'm the truth, nigga you're fakin' - name it
Everything you did I did it all on a feature
Preacher told me never trust a soul but the one you own
(Chorus)
I got my heart encrypted coz I know a lot of bitches
They don't want the love, they just want some pictures
I've been on the road, swear I'm headed to the riches
Woke up feeling Godly coz I made it out the trenches
I've been a man at 8, everything was on me
My niggas used to laugh when the gas was on E
Didn't have the money to pull up at a show
Barely had the money to promote my new
Single
I gotta get it now, nigga show no mercy
If I ever fall, I'd be falling outta sleep, yeah
[Part 2] - I Pray
(Chorus)
Our father, I'm on my knees and I pray baba
Hallo be thy name, I speak the truth in your face baba
Give us our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
I swear we've been through a lot, tryna make it to the skyscrapers (×2)
(Verse)
I'm on my knees and I pray
Lately I feel like there's nothin' to say
I got this handkerchief for all my sins
Banging through life, I feel like Johnny Sins
Maybe I'm just feeling like Johnny Test
How I've been through a lot, still on the quest
They think I made it, they're sending requests
Soon as they hear my song play on the radio
Treat this music like an antidote
I should put my name up on the pedestal
On my way up I'm untouchable
Lights, camera, action - my life a move
I've seen this scene of this very movie
Apocalyptic when this tape go viral
Astŕœ be the only one that's vital
I'm just being modest
(Chorus)
Our father, I'm on my knees and I pray baba
Hallo be thy name, I speak the truth in your face baba
Give us our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
I swear we've been through a lot, tryna make it to the skyscrapers (×2)
