December Lyrics by Augustsipped20

gold

2021

(verse 1)
Winter
Our hands trembling nonstop
You gave me as a gift a handwritten letter
Glitter
Surrounding each word
I said, “I couldn’t think of anything better.”
(chorus)
And I keep diving deep into our memories
Frozen on ice, but, they’re already melting
‘Cause the snow is gone
Since long enough
And I keep going back to that cold weather
Wishing I could wrap my arms around us together
‘Cause December’s never been this cold
No, never before
(verse 2)
Our clothеs
Lying on my room’s floor
We used to wear еach other’s for fun
You’re at the phone
And said you were at your mom’s home
I guess I shouldn’t have given all of this for sure
(chorus)
And I keep diving deep into our memories
Frozen on ice, but, they’re already melting
‘Cause the snow is gone
Since long enough
And I keep going back to that cold weather
Wishing I could wrap my arms around us together
‘Cause December’s never been this cold
No, never before
(bridge)
Remember when I used to try it all?
When I gave you my heart as a whole?
Maybe it was never enough
Remember when I used to take?
The longest road just to meet you accidentally on the way
‘Cause you said you’d be busy all day
Still I’d wait, you said “meet me at eight.”
I would always wait
But you were never there
(chorus)
And I keep diving deep into our memories
Frozen on ice, but, they’re already melting
‘Cause the snow is gone
Since long enough
And I keep going back to that cold weather
Wishing I could wrap my arms around us together
‘Cause December’s never been this cold
No, never before
(outro)
December has never been this cold
Never this cold
Never before
Remember when I took the longest road just to meet you accidentally on the way?
You said you’d be busy all day
But I said I’d wait, you said “meet me at eight.”
I would always wait
But you were never there
