Salam/Shalom Lyrics by Ayman

0

Intro:-
It’s freedom for everybody, or freedom for nobody
I want to be remembered as someone who was sincere
Even if I made mistakes, they were made in sincerity
To me, the thing that is worst than death is betrayal
Chorus:-
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
Shalom>>>Salam
Shalom>>>Salam
Salam>>>Shalom
Salam>>>Shalom
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
Verse:-
Dear Allah, in your namе I start this conscious verse
The Magnificеnt, the Merciful, the Lord of the universe
I’m writing you this letter because I’m seeking your converse
Hoping for you to relief my nation from this curse
I know that you’re the Seer of all, you’re the Observant
So please have a mercy on your followers and servants
They labelled me a terrorist, and that’s a true burden
Though I’m peaceful, yeah of that I’m quite certain
I’m innocent, yet I’m asking for your refuge
Lord please do console me from this dispute
We need peace to embrace the whole entire globe
Unite the Sheikhs,Cohens and Popes
And make a brand new scope for humanity
An anthropology to unleash this insanity
To raise awareness amongst the youth mentality
Spread love and attain a Global decent morality. T,T,T,T,T,T,T
Chorus:-
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam

When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
Verse:-
At the Mosque, I raise my palms and pray
Prostrating, every night and day
Wishing for health, wealth, love and happiness
I swear I’m out here trying to impress your Highness
So I confessed, and released the stress coming out of my chest
Yes I was wrong, but swerved into your righteousness
Dreaming for success and your eternal good bless
Hoping you accept my repentance request
And have mercy on my soul, my family, my state
My advocate, yes I need a loyal soul mate
A beautiful wifey, who would love and entice me
Raise my kids and build with me a dynasty
I’d like to thank you Jah for your infinite bounties
For your grace and for illuminating me
To see the truth and get over my vanity
Sincerely, Truly yours
A letter to your Majesty. T,T,T
Chorus:-
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
When I say Shalom, y’all rather say Salam
