Trying to Forget Lyrics by Gabrielle B.

2021

Trying to forget you, is a motherfucking trip
Praying for a blessing before I lose my grip
I'm always in situations too long
Searching for ways to make a house where there’s no home
You're wrong
Yeah you know that you're wrong
These days I just try to keep my cool
Find something to do instead of worrying about you
What does it matter anyway?
If you’re moving on from me
Finally I realize you never belonged to me
And that's why
Everytime I close my eyes
When I fall asleep at night
Don't wanna feel you by my side no more
Even if it once felt right
Everytime I close my eyes
When I fall asleep at night
Don't wanna feel you by my side no more
No more
I am on the road now living out all my dreams
Fucking who I want now but it ain't as great as it seems
Bet you don't give a fuck do ya? Just like you didn't back then
Sticking to the walls of my medula
Reason for the pain that be leaking out my pen
Please don't hit my line when I am up
Cause I’m liable to crash in your trap and get stuck
Why can’t I just give you up?
Everytime I close my eyes
When I fall asleep at night
Don't wanna feel you by my side no more
But still, I’m lost in all my thoughts about you
Thought that I knew better than that
I said I'm lost in all my thoughts about you
Thought that I knew better than that
