Posted on the block selling all the dimes, running from the shots avoiding all the crime. all I hear is cops shooting all the time going to the top the stairs is these rhymes lace up my shoe gotta watch my back grind time and I never slack feeling no remorse when you hold the mac had young boys die trying to make a stackThat gun to your face leave you froze, nobody care when that metal at your nose, but you can almost feel the souls, that got hit and left for dead on the road and all for what a piece of paper, looking for the top starting from the chamber love me while I'm down turned to a hater, feeling like I'm in a swamp full of alligators rising from the dirt, recieveing all the hurt. got me writing raps thinking what it's worth looking for a chance everyday i search but it seem like they want to put me in a hearse. doing this to get a new way, what do i say when i ask God and pray, for a new life when its a Privilege to see a new night the right ways corrupted so I'm looking for q new right being in this life is a struggle where the crime get doubled and the drugs get smuggled, its a puzzle to leave, and a juggle to be a law abiding citizen and a crook and a thief its amazing what i seen with my two eyes but i grown to realize that theres still love trust and theres still lies as long as its fiends its still pies all this hard work got me going crazy working like rapping pays me i ain't lazy its better than them try to cage me hate me enrage me , many people can see the pride in my eyes when they tell me what i can't be the ends of the good i can't meet because evil always deem to distaint me blinded by jealousy i can't see
