In Castles, Above the Sky Lyrics by Begrimmed

...Enthralled by a Pagan Storm

2018

On the highest top of the Tree of Life
Lies Nav, the Realm of the Gods
Who gather, feast and dwell
In castles, above the sky
In Nav lies an enormous mountain
Once a corpse of the giant Svitogor
On the highest top of this mountain
Lies Svarog’s home, castle of white stone
Under the roots of the Tree of Life
Lies the kingdom of Crnobog
Who rules in a black castle of steel
On the island of Temnava
In a realm so dark and cold
Many a mortal soul had found it’s doom there, for
No rest had been found in the peace of trees
Instead, these souls carried infamous deeds of crime and treason
And that burden blocked the way to the Heroes’ Hall
Above the sky
Heavens of Svarog
Open forth to bring the day
Heavens above
Hail them, warriors, the gods of Nav
