Jesus Loves U Lyrics by Benji (CHH)

Come Home Now

2017

[Verse 1]
This is a continuation of the previous song
I pray perspectives shifted you may have had wrong
I don't blame you for having them
No, I hear the way people talk
And it's my so-called people's fault
But who am I?
Look, I'm [?]
That my pride gave people shame
But now I [?] salvation
And it's for freedom
That I'm singing
There ain't no other reason
I am believing
That we gonna hear the chains fall
When Your name's called
Jesus, can You come down and meet us?
They might not all receive it
But even if it's just for the onе
I'll ask today
[Chorus]
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
'Cause Hе does, 'cause He's love, yeah
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
'Cause He does, for- for the Bible tells me so
But these are not just ancient writings I'm reciting
'Cause the way that I was brought up
I got caught up
I came back after I did not, yeah
I cried out to the Son
So don't go run away
Come and run the race
I'll be your tribe
God's on our side, yeah yeah
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
I gotta tell you, gotta tell you that He loves you
Yeah He does, 'cause He's love
Yeah He does, 'cause He's love, yeah
[Verse 2]
I'm embarrassed by most that claim my faith
But they don't got my faith
See, they just in my way
'Cause I'm preparing the way for the Lord
I'm preparing the way for the Lord
I wait on the Lord when I speak
I don't speak from my head when I speak to the dead
I speak to speak life
I speak to speak life
And if that's not why you do it then you ain't right
Yeah, I saw some people the other day, they holding picket fences
They act like they with when really they are against us
They got a funny way of making their own religion
Out of what God said and I ain't playin' with them
Gotta break the façade
'Cause if we don't walk in love, then we don't walk with God
I don't speak from my head when I speak, yeah
I only speak to see the dead raised
[Chorus]
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
'Cause He does, 'cause He's love, yeah
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
'Cause He does, for- for the Bible tells me so
But these are not just ancient writings I'm reciting
'Cause the way that I was brought up
I got caught up
I came back after I did not, yeah
I cried out to the Son
So don't go run away
Come and run the race
I'll be your tribe
God's on our side, yeah yeah
Do you know that Jesus loves you?
I gotta tell you, gotta tell you that He loves you
Yeah He does, 'cause He's love
Yeah He does, 'cause He's love, yeah
