In the Eye of the Storm Lyrics by Bev Foster

Trustpoints

2004

In the Eye of the Storm
[VERSE 1]
You’ve called me to live in You, Jesus
I know ev’ry sky is not blue
In the midst of the trial I’m facing
I’m looking for You
[VERSE 2]
I want to believe in You, Jesus
I struggle with what may be true
Sometimes I doubt You really hear me
But I’m movin’ towards You
[Chorus]
In the eye of the storm, I’ll trust You Jesus
In the eye of the storm, I’ll follow You
When darkness surrounds me and fear overwhelms me
I’ll trust You Jesus in the eye of the storm
[VERSE 3]
You’ve called me to love like You, Jesus
Sometimes it’s so hard to do
In the midst of the heartache I’m facing
I’m movin’ towards You
[VERSE 4]
I want to believe in You, Jesus
Believe ev’ry word to be true
Sometimes I’m not sure of the next step
But I’m reaching for You
[Chorus]
In the eye of the storm, I’ll trust You Jesus
In the eye of the storm, I’ll follow You
When darkness surrounds me and fear overwhelms me
I’ll trust You Jesus in the eye of the storm
[BRIDGE]
My eyes fixed on You I walk on the water
You give me the courage to face my fear
Your eyes fixed on me, I’m stronger with You
[Chorus]
In the eye of the storm, I’ll trust You Jesus
In the eye of the storm, I’ll follow You
When darkness surrounds me and fear overwhelms me
I’ll trust You Jesus in the eye of the storm
