Don’t You Forget About Me Lyrics by Big Picture

Just Passin’ By...

1994

[Verse 1]
Sleep, my girl, just a dream a day
Before too long you'll be far away
It's been a few weeks maybe seven or eight
But I'm not in a position to approximate
I know in a couple I will burn for you
Counting the hours waiting for my cue
And to look in her eyes, to look in her eyes
She had to go away for me to realize
[Chorus]
I can't see you, so don't you forget about me
I can't hold you, so don't you forget about me
I can't feel you, so don't you forget about me
I can't touch you, so don't you forget about me
[Verse 2]
Shout like thunder, hit like rain
Scream like the wind then try again
Whatever I do to get in touch
Is never enough to say I miss you much
I wander the streets feeling so alone
The streets where we laughed and we played upon
And to look in her eyes, to look in her eyes
She had to go away for me to realize
[Chorus]
I can't see you, so don't you forget about me
I can't hold you, so don't you forget about me
I can't feel you, so don't you forget about me
I can't touch you, so don't you forget about me
[Verse 3]
You left me here to write you there
With the pencil in my hand and the rain in my hair
It seems to me it's raining all time
When you left me here alone
You took the sunshine
I wander the streets never going home
To the bed where we laughed and we played upon
And to look in her eyes, to look in her eyes
She had to go away for me to realize
[Chorus]
I can't see you, so don't you forget about me
I can't hold you, so don't you forget about me
I can't feel you, so don't you forget about me
I can't touch you, so don't you forget about me
[Outro]
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
Don't you forget about me
Forget about me, forget about me
