Dedication 2 Pray Lyrics by Bigg Jus

Plantation Rhymes

[samples]
We must not fool ourselves, America was never set up to be a democracy. It was a group of thieves who broke away from another group of thieves and set up a document called the constitution which is just a compromise of power between those thieves to rule over the common people and the land of this country
Now right now ladies and gentlemen it is star time, and we would like to bring you the stars of our show
[Bigg Jus]
This is dedication rhyme going out to some of the illest of all time
NYC dedicated to hip-hop and all aspects of the life
Live from the most remote location out the corner of your eye in the pourin' rain
Scratched in a phone booth on the phone on the left-hand side was the word Pray
With the illest bombin' dedication, pick any station along the lines
Look up on the city payphones and a painted beam, the uniquest of all time
The attribute Pray worshipped God and its truest definition of all city
Even though it was just a simple scratch tag it was up crazy silly
Big time respect behind Stay Hi and Iz, one of the most tuff in all of history
Who didn't care to hang around at any writer's benches so the identity stayed a mystery
Blanket the entire NYC town with the most profound truth
Pray got up on [?] like a superhero got out the phone booth
It was like for years I observed it, and didn't pay it any mind
City bombin', tryin' to survive a turbulent state of being and mind
See hip-hop exists for real, son, and not some fashionable trend of the time
And the focus and determination breathed its life into me or I probably would've died
Pure student of the elemental form, I studied every burner's line
And didn't bite nobody's ish but tried and carve an identity out that was mine
So it was like my world got shattered when all these toys invaded the line
No knowledge of history, randomly destroyin', no concept of style
Seeing history repeatin' itself kind of reminded me of now
Damn we gave transit fits, writin' was the shit
I was caught off-guard by its innocence and charm
Not ridin' these trains, not trying to look like a writer, with no ink, feelin' unarmed
Watchin' older brothers' spots get shut down by countless raids
All my heartful efforts gettin' buffed, losin' my essence, seein' my tags fade
This is dedication rhyme, it's goin' out to hip-hop and all aspects of the life
