GOOD NEWS Lyrics by Billy Marchiafava

Please & Thank You

2023

[Verse 1]
Good news
I'm in my prime, I can't lose
Heads turn when I walk in the room
10 deep, it's just me and my crew
This ain't no jazz, but I got these blues
Good news
I got that shit make you move
I stuff these bands in my shoes
You can't do what I did or do what I do
300 million views, bitch, who knew?
Like, you ain't about shit
Keep running up that mouth bill
I use this music like a bank account
I drop the song and get paid in full
You know my name, that don't mean we're cool
I play the show when it's packed out
You ask me why do I flex like this?
What the fuck else I'm supposed to rap about?
Let's get down to logistics
The rap game boring as fuck, here's some assistance
I flip on her back and said, "Shawty come on and kiss this"
A wise man told me, "Don't worry about a bitch, get the digits"
So I went on a fucking mission
18 hours in the stu making hits, bitch
He talk a lot but what have you done, bitch? Slim to none
Get the funds by any means, that's number one
[Refrain]
Good news, I'm rich
Good news, yo bitch
Good news, tryna hit
Good news, real quick
Good news, she pull up
Good news, to the crib (good)
20 minutes later, send her back to the whip (good, good, good)
[Verse 2]
Good news, this song's dedicated
To the ones that said I wouldn't make it
To the ones that act like they so famous
But nobody even knows what your fucking name is
I, let me be frank
I need a bitch that can swallow an ocean
I'm off that drink, and I'm smoking
All my teachers said I couldn't focus
You could eat my dick, you make 30 bands a year
Go get you a Ford Focus
Like that motherfucking blunt, let me get in that rotation
She wanted me to slide, I'm sorry I couldn't make it
One, here comes the two to the three to the four
I got some hits, but I think I need more
I play a show and we break the damn floor
I keep winning, don't need to keep score
If you want beef, you can meet me on tour
I got that shit they don't sell in the store
My ex called, but I hit ignore
I see you watching me on explore
Page, your career got 30 days
I'll be balling till I'm middle age
Good news, we getting paid
[Outro]
Billy's on the beat, bringing the he-heat
