Dawn of a Dark Day Lyrics by Black Sun Empire

From the Shadows

2012

Verse 1 (Orifice Vulgatron)
Descend the synapse
Chill factor sixty
Microverse entered
So black, it’s slip stream
Dip both the headlights
Melt into the background
Forcefield activate
Operation black cloud
Operation sub source
Engage for hand over
We've set the minefield
This's what we planned sober
We stand closer
Fall back to vessel 2
Team in position
Go snag the destitute
Verse 2 (Metropolis)
Ready to transmit
Grid mapped to the free node
Construct the rhythm too
Stand by to decode
Survey the Battlefield like Saito off the black top
Power up the Ammo Yield
Cloaked up on black ops
I exhale the white mist
Cyber brain circus
Locked to pinpoint my sidefix
Brace for the kick-back
Zoomed in I’m prescient
Ghost-hack the Firewall
Squeezed on the jet
Thor hammer spawned, the Messiah call
Chorus (Orifice Vulgatron & Metropolis)
Black Sun Empire
Test of time
Nightfire
New dawn
New day
We emerge
As they fade away
[2x]
Verse 3 (Orifice Vulgatron)
Descend the synapse
Chill factor sixty
Microverse entered
So black, it’s slip stream
Dip both the headlights
Melt into the background
Forcefield activate
Operation black cloud
Operation sub source
Engage for hand over
We've set the minefield
This's what we planned sober
We stand closer
Fall back to vessel 2
Team in position
Go snag the destitute
Verse 4 (Orifice Vulgatron)
Landscape mindswept
Feel the upheaval
Widespreaded grievance
No sight of people
Trails of mass movement
Slowly diminishing
As the earth burns
My back spine's a grimacing
Bittersweet silhouette
Promise of a new age
Eclipsed by a red mist
Ouroboros of blue haze
All I see is carrying
Souls flee the starscape
Black Sun Empire
Dawn of a Dark Day
Verse 5 (Metropolis)
Feet down in the asphalt
Streets clouded in ash-fall
Sodom we remember as we step through the embers
The absence of siren sounds deafening our senses
No more pretenses
Mortaring picket fences
Head bowed
We tread south gathering wounded stragglers
Silence is our language shattered with wounded travelers
Battered by the heat swell
Dust reflects some [?]
Future's in our hands once we resurrect the genome
Chorus (Orifice Vulgatron & Metropolis)
Black Sun Empire
Test of time
Nightfire
New dawn
New day
We emerge
As they fade away
[2x]
Chorus (Orifice Vulgatron)
New dawn, new day
We emerge, as they fade away
[2x]
