That night driving, new wife and husband
They were struck head on by a drunken car
He was okay but she sent sailing
Through the windshield up towards the stars

He cried "please don't die"
To tell those lies he swore she had to be

As the blood flowed from her headwound
Right down into those golden curls
Then it struck him, his wish was granted
He finally had a redhead girl

Finally married, next day buried
And the redhead come to haunt him every night
