A Week Ago Lyrics by Bodega Bamz

La Chasse

2020

[Verse 1: Bodega Bamz]
You won't believe the week I had
If I was weak, I wouldn't speak a thing, let the speakers bang
I missed the call from my homie who got killed on a Monday
Right before 9 AM, bright and early
And it was one week before his thirty, had it planned
We was s'posed to celebrate, damn, my nigga
My head spinnin', now it's Tuesday
Some nigga tryna sell me work that was foo-fay
I'm stoppin' my homie who wanna violate
My nigga, I just lost one, got too much on my plate
And I gotta go to court mañana
But get him next time, partner, don't worry
I call my lawyer at six, on my way, he like, "Hurry"
"Arе you sure you not guilty? The DA got a deal"
I got еnough of the trial, you just send me the bill
Know the life, no excuses, either jail or get killed, my nigga
[Chorus: Bodega Bamz]
I had a bad week just a week ago
Every day was pain, after pain, after pain
I had a bad week just a week ago
Pop the bottle if you feel what I'm sayin', my nigga
I had a bad week just a week ago
Every day was pain, after pain, after pain
I had a bad week just a week ago
Pop the bottle if you feel what I'm sayin', yo
[Verse 2: Bodega Bamz]
Why I gave this bitch my number?
Blowin' up my jack while I'm next to my wife and shit
It's Thursday, got a parent-teacher conference
My first born really whilin'
Spittin' on a kid's face
He sound like me, how can I not relate?
I'm tryna be good by Friday
Felicia knockin' on my door like, "Why, Nate?"
Why should I pay for the pussy, when my dick be free?
I hit these thots just once, and now they stuck on me
I wanna do it big on Sábado
'cause the week been bad thus far
So we out to the club, five deep in the car
Got stopped by the D's, and we ain't make it that far
Smellin' weed down the block, where's yo' license?
My man don't know English, just the prices, shit
[Interlude: Tanboy Luka]
[?] pistola, por favor
Fuchame, que es [?] domingo
[?] mañana
[?]
[Outro: Ohla]
Lord have mercy
Sunday, fun day, fucker, happy hump day
Liquor callin', thirsty, preacher sayin', "No, Nate"
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
Sunday, fun day, fucker, happy hump day
Liquor callin', thirsty, preacher sayin', "No, Nate"
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
Sunday, fun day, fucker, happy hump day
Liquor callin', thirsty, preacher sayin', "No, Nate"
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
Sunday, fun day, fucker, happy hump day
Liquor callin', thirsty, preacher sayin', "No, Nate"
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy
