Come See About Me Lyrics by Bonnie Pointer

Bonnie Pointer (1979)

0

I've been crying (ooh, ooh)
'Cause I'm lonely (for you)
Smiles have all turned (to tears)
But tears won't wash away the fears
That you're never ever gonna return
To ease the fire that within me burns
Don't keep me cryin' baby for you
Don't keep me sighin' baby for you
So won't you hurry
Come on boy, see about me
(Come see about me)
See about you baby
(Come see about me)
I've given up my friends just for you
My friends have gone and you have too
No more peace will I find
Until you come back and be mine
No matter what you do or say
I'm gonna love you anyway
Don't keep me cryin' baby for you
Don't keep me sighin' baby for you
So won't you hurry?
Come on, well, see about me
(Come see about me)
See about you baby
(Come see about me)
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Mmm mmm
Mmm mmm
Mmm mmm
Mmm mmm
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Cryin' baby for you
Sighin' baby for you
Come see about me
Come see about me
Sometime's up (up, mmm mmm)
Sometime's I'm down (down, mmm mmm)
My life is uncertain (mmm mmm)
When you're not around (mmm mmm)
From my arm you may be out of reach
But my heart says you're mine to keep
Don't keep me cryin'-yin', lyin'
Got me beggin', I'm pleadin', I'm dyin'
So won't you hurry?
Come on boy, see about me
(Come see about me)
See about you baby
(Come see about me)
You know I'm so lonely
(Come see about me)
And I love you only
(Come see about me)
Oh, see about your baby
(Come see about me)
Hurry, hurry
(Come see about me)
