Never Liked Your Name Lyrics by Brooke Alexx

Big(ger) Mouth

2023

[Verse 1]
I’m kinda picky
I’m unforgiving
Soon as it hits me
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I get so iffy
For something silly
Maybe it’s instinct
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
You walked up and I could already tell
When you started introducing yourself
I never liked your name
[Chorus]
I’m gonna add you to the list of all my worst mistakes
I overthink the stupid little things, it’s such a shame
I should’ve known that we’d go up in flames
I never really even liked your name
It didn’t roll right off my tonguе, it kinda sounded strange
I spit it out and had to deal with all thе aftertaste
I should’ve known that we were just a phase
I never really even liked your name
[Verse 2]
Wouldn’t wanna hear it
For the rest of my life
See it written next to mine
On a wedding invite
Everyone would know
And I’d be mortified
[Pre-Chorus]
You walked up and I could already tell
When you started introducing yourself
I never liked your name
[Chorus]
I’m gonna add you to the list of all my worst mistakes
I overthink the stupid little things, it’s such a shame
I should’ve known that we’d go up in flames
I never really even liked your name
It didn’t roll right off my tongue, it kinda sounded strange
I spit it out and had to deal with all the aftertaste
I should’ve known that we were just a phase
I never really even liked your name
[Bridge]
I never liked your, never liked your name
Never liked your, never liked your name
I never liked your, never liked your name
Never liked your, never
I never liked your name
