Drunk Christmas (Forget This Year) Lyrics by Brutalligators

2020

[Verse: Brutalligators]
In January made a list of everything I want this year
I'm determined to check off these resolutions
The air outside is crisp, the temperature inside is dropping fast
This holiday could be a good solution
Touch down at Heathrow on a cold and frosty February night
Echos of her sadness and her disappointment
Fast forward fourteen days, I'm switching off my single bedside light
There's only one here in this small apartment
[Chorus: All]
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget this year
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forgеt everything
[Verse: Brightr]
On Halloween I should've been in bеtter climbs across the world
Who knew that fate was setting fire to our schedules
Instead of wallowing let's sink a shot and cross our fingers tight tonight
[Verse: H_ngm_n]
Livestream shows stuck in these four walls
Zoom calls that I’m so over now
Home workouts, shit TV & Netflix
I’ve completed it somehow
Festive cheers with christmas beers, gin & vodka & all the rum
Top of my list, no hangover til 2021
[Chorus: All]
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget this year
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget everything
[Bridge: All Better]
To all my friends around the way
I made you out of paper mache
Never to feel alone again
Coz these shrooms are better shared with a friend
I go through weed like a herbicide
And try to ignore that we're guna die
I miss you more than the sage alliance manipulate the science
[Chorus: All]
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget this year
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget everything
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget this year
We're gonna get drunk this Christmas
And try to forget everything
(drink responsibly kids)
And try to forget everything
(wait... wait... not kids)
And try to forget this year
