I Never Knew Lyrics by Caity Gyorgy

Featuring

2022

[Verse]
I never used to smile at strangers
I never once looked up from my shoes
I never used to wonder why the world just seemed to pass me by
I never used to care till I met you
I never used to have a favourite colour
And when I walked I never looked to see
The beautiful and candid ways of storefronts, parks and alleyways
I never saw until I met your gaze
[Chorus]
But since I've known you I spеak fluent happiness
And evеry word I hear sounds like a song
I think of rain as tears of joy falling from the sky
I've got a skip to my step and a sparkle in my eye
And I never knew that I could be excited
About a story that's yet to be told
And all the possibilities for my dreams to be realities
You've shown me joy in watching love unfold
[Instrumental Break]
[Chorus]
But since I've known you I speak fluent happiness
And every word I hear sounds like a song
I think of rain as tears of joy falling from the sky
I've got a skip to my step and a sparkle in my eye
I never knew that I could be excited
About a story that's yet to be told
And all the possibilities for my dreams to be realities
You've shown me joy in watching love unfold, unfold
