The cash keeps us fed with a thick feather bed brinem over to eat
The panther piss and with lady sweat drinks pass around 'til crawl on knees
One day we gone off the stove still cracklin hotter than a bowl of hot tar chile in hell
The men rogalout piss the fire to calm out the stove screamed and waiting
It chased 'round the house downstairs blood and ash paint the walls
Then up our stairs I hear it there screaming out threatening my gals
It came to mine the thng was iron thick iron from a church steeple
I got it cheap thick as it is from poverty strickt holy people
Then I could smell the piss on the hot iron top and burned up bloodied hearts
Fight that Beast a punch and a gun I thought about it and I didn't start
So I grabbed up the gals and hopped out the window
The body cushioned my fall
I looked up as the house was clanging and reaking the window too small
I surmised that I should run off and find a big pond or lake
I stripped down naked now and front of the house for a chase
I found in the door punching a hole for the pipe to push through
The stove screaming wailing wanting to fry my ass and make blood stew
I ran high and low it got from yellow to red iron hot
Then over the sound I heard some birds pond sing and wet wood rot

Hopped in the drink cold but the stove hopped in too legs went red
The boiling water and thunder claps almost blew off my head
The ranch alone daughters back home shaking to the bone
Week later more hands to help asking of the red hand paint floor and
