Before The Press Lyrics by Cata-Lust

Before The Press

2019

Intro..
Yeah.. Let's go..
Final Run.. Let's goo
Verse 1:
Served you all my truth/ worked with all the crews/ you wanna another piece of pie/
Who the fuck is Lust??/ who the fuck to trust??/
Can you even read the lines???/
It's been a long time coming finally I'm in the drivers seat now/
Had to park my dreams/ get a job for need where the lesser me found/
The pendulum swings how time flies all really you know is broke/
A broken home, my bro was overdosing loads so I mostly wrote to cope/
Stole my dopest clothes sold them for some for blow now he gotta roll for smokes/
Hows I s'posed to grow/ Hows I s'posed grow/I barely even l flowed or spoke
Flashing forward in my teens/ a know it all it seems I'm toking weed now
Low self esteem/ No help for me/ overweight I over eat now/
Focus on studies, you'll be something buddy perfect words from mom and dad/
Rapping in the mirror hear them people cheering what I really want is that/
Gotta get my heart broken, broke some hearts knowing I was more in love with rap/
Autobio to a case a curiosity that almost killed the cat/
Ass whippins/ damn I needed them they really made me to into a man/
Welcome to the home of Thabiso before he even knew that he could rap
Hook:
So a this point, I'm getting older, I'm finding new interests
The things that shouldn't have made me, made me
The things that aren't my truth, became my truth, let's goo
2nd Verse:
My cuz be teaching me the ropes/
How to rope-a-dope them girls
I'm finally beasting to the hoes/
I've opened up a hole of worms/
Drama peaking in the home/
My bro just overdosed his worth
I gotta leave I gotta go/
Find a road of hope or worse/
Got my first joint on radioooooo/
DJ preaching I got next
Hustle gettin crazy yooooooo/
My team be moving like it's chess
I got addictions too I gotta keep them hidden, fam will start calling/
Told my momma I'm blow, she no longer gotta gotta worry/
Illustrations of a skitzophrenic genius I really lost mine/
I'm casually between sanity an evil saint think I lost time/
They wanna know they wanna wanna know who Cata Cata Lust is??
Imagination runs wiiiild I gotta gotta gotta hunt it.../
In the court of law I'm facing you as fans if you really wanna judge me/
My solemn oath to give you truth, good and bad and even ugly/
So link up all the camera's, lie detectors on the fucken stand now
Now you know who Cata is trouble I'm the fucking fucking man now
