Troubles For Tea Lyrics by Caxton (band)

Plotting A Murder

2011

[Verse]
Better stop
Better change
Before it’s too late
Yeah, I know...it’s the truth
Yeah, I know... it’s a shame
[Chorus]
But I, oh I, I’m in this spider’s web
That’s where I lay my head
Til he spins what I know
What I see
[Verse]
It’s a lift
It’s a high
It’s an easy reprieve
From the day
From the dark
From everything
What was that?
Did you say?
I am not myself?
Must have been
That you spoke
Of somebody else
[Chorus]
Cuz I, oh I, I’m in my spider’s web
He’s tickling at my head
How he spins what I know
What I see
[Bridge]
Oh, look at the way he’s with me
Trading my troubles for tea
Sеwing up my torn out seams
Returning my broken drеams
Calming my down as I weep
Rolling me up in his sleep
Letting me forget, forget…
[Chorus]
That I, yes I, I’m in this spider’s web
And he’s feeding on my head
Til he’s full
Til I’m his
Til he’s mine
