Berlin Notes Lyrics by Chad in Amsterdam

0

Back in May of 2011 I took a weekend trip to the wonderful city of Berlin. As I always do, I took some photos and wrote some notes on my observations on the city I Traveled through. Usually Twitter serves as the notepad of choice, but because I did not have any internet connectivity, I decided to just jot my notes on the iPhone. I thought I'd post them as an homage to one of the world's most exciting cities and underground.
Berlin Notes ...
"Everything" The Dutch "do wrong," The Germans "do worse."
Overkill for sneakers.
Berlin does not waste taxpayer money on graffiti removal. Dope.
Berlin is ultra-grimy. I love it. I'd want to live here if it was not for Their harsh (euphemism) winters.
In Berlin they ride bikes big time too. One can even ride on the sidewalks without fear of reprisal.
Most ladies out here dress too artsy. They put forth no effort towards appearance. Best to get a chick from elsewhere and then move here with her.
In Berlin, wherever there can be art, there is art.
Everybody goes into the night stores and gets a beer, cracks it open, then heads back out to the streets. No open bottle policies.
There's a dude that calls himself the "Bottle Master" who collects all of the empty bottles originating from the night-stores makes a killing.
Even though I appreciate the absence of the "hgkkk" sound, German does indeed sound worse than English.
You can get drunk in the doner jont!! Like, for real drunk. Jägermeister and beer!!
How does one manage to get the same taxi driver twice in one night in a city this big?
Ostensibly, Jackie Chan was in my cab tonight with two German bitches, speaking fluent German. Taxi driver says he's here often.
Berlin is what Cleveland could be if the powers that be embraced the arts and there was not so much separatism.
0.4 liter beer for € 2.30.
Tons of Vietnamese restaurants here. Much better than shwarma shit all over the place.
Currywurst Is not Bad. It is not great either.
Germans make the best writing instruments, I love Kaweco & Lamy . Be sure to visit RSVP . & schoene Schreibwaren .
Zee Germans have a bar in Berlin called " Lebowski . "Yeah, named after the deadbeat Lebowski.
A shot of Jameson and a 550ml bottle of Newcastle will run you about € 5.30.
Man, thesis Germans are some rule-following muthafuckas. They follow rules like they get commission for thinking inside the box.
The German accent sounds awful when they speak English. "Und cattle vill need twelff € uros for sea bike."
The flea market at the Mauer Park is a must do event. Every Sunday, weather permitting.
I've never ate so much pork in my entire life as I have these fits three days.
Got a durum doner here that was spicy as fuck. English folks just some cover when it comes to spice. Double entender ...
Briefly spoke with the Skeletons members. Yes, they all went to Oberlin . They're also in. Amsterdam this Wednesday at OT301 . Good folks.
The sweet, sweet redolence or rotating doner meat emanating up to the West Germany ...
A shot of Jim Beam and a bottle of Berliner at West Germany will run you € 4 ...
West Germany is the most rancid concert venue I've ever been to. I meansthat in a very good way.
That's a woman? Ew.
For bike rental, Which is a must here, go the Fat Bike . They do good business and the bikes are nice.
There are a lot of makeshift beach bars / clubs here.
